USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR THE ANALYSIS OF OPEN SCIENTIFIC DATA AND CONDUCTING META-RESEARCH

Abstract
This article explores the role and capabilities of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in analyzing open scientific data and conducting meta-research. The study examines the evolution of automated meta-analysis (AMA) systems, the application of large language models (LLMs), as well as AI solutions integrated with open data archives (OpenAlex, DANDI, OpenAIRE). The results show that the efficiency of literature search and screening using AI significantly increases; however, achieving full automation remains at the frontier of possibility. The article concludes by discussing the advantages, limitations, and future directions for conducting meta-research based on AI.
