THE CREATIVE ECONOMY AS A FACTOR OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

The article examines the role of the creative economy as a strategic factor in the sustainable development of Uzbekistan. The aim is to assess the prospects for the sector's share of GDP growth based on the analysis of government initiatives. The methodology included systemic and comparative analysis. The results show that the implementation of the "roadmap" for 2025–2030 will increase the contribution of the creative economy to GDP from 0.7% to 4–5%. It is concluded that the sector plays a key role in diversifying the economy, creating jobs and increasing the country's competitiveness.
