Abstract
The results of a forensic examination of individuals injured in frontal collisions with other vehicles and stationary obstacles in moving modern passenger cars were analyzed. It was found that in this type of motor vehicle trauma, drivers most often suffered injuries to the outer body surface, such as abrasions and bruises with soft tissue contusions. Among front-seat passengers, severe injuries were predominantly to the head, while injuries to the outer body surface were most common in the face and extremities. Among rear-seat passengers, the most severe injuries were to the head, chest, spine, pelvis, and extremities.
