Abstract
This article analyses the clinical and diagnostic features of Wellens syndrome, a condition characterized by a high risk of cardiovascular disease. Wellens Syndrome is manifested by specific changes in the ECG indicative of critical stenosis of the anterior descending artery, which supplies blood to the left ventricle of the heart. Unrecognized Wellens may lead to myocardial infarction. This paper provides a step-by-step analysis of patient history, laboratory tests, ECG changes and imaging results. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of timely detection of Wellens and appropriate treatment strategies, including the use of invasive procedures to preserve the myocardium.
