Abstract

The article discusses the specific features of using electronic learning materials in the education system and their relationship with traditional printed textbooks. Their functions, advantages, and limitations are examined in detail. It is noted that digital resources possess a number of unique characteristics that enhance the level of individualization and interactivity in the learning process. At the same time, challenges to their implementation are identified, including technical, psychological- pedagogical, and organizational issues. The conclusion is drawn that electronic materials cannot completely replace printed textbooks, but in combination with them, they can significantly improve the effectiveness of the educational process.
