Abstract
This article examines the development and formation of terminology—one of the most urgent, complex, and theoretically and practically significant areas of linguistics—as well as the role and importance of computer technologies in the development of the language and in language teaching. In the contemporary era, the rapid advancement of science and technology not only motivates individuals to acquire solid knowledge across various fields but also enriches the lexical repertoire of the language; furthermore, it systematically compiles and continuously expands numerous linguistic units employed in speech, necessitating their alignment with everyday life. Moreover, during the translation of computer terms—which hold a significant position in modern global linguistics—into Uzbek, contextual analysis facilitates the accurate comprehension of the semantic content of neologisms.
