Abstract
This clinical study evaluated contemporary approaches for the treatment of complete edentulism, comparing conventional complete dentures (CCDs), CAD/CAM-fabricated dentures, and implant-supported overdentures (ISODs). Sixty edentulous patients were randomly assigned to three groups and followed for 12 months. Results demonstrated that implant-supported overdentures achieved the highest masticatory efficiency (85.4%), occlusal force, and patient satisfaction, followed by CAD/CAM dentures, which showed superior precision and comfort compared to conventional dentures. Statistical analysis confirmed significant intergroup differences (p < 0.01). The findings indicate that digital and implant-based prosthodontic solutions significantly enhance functional outcomes, retention, and quality of life in completely edentulous patients.
